Goal and controls
The goal is to collect balloons faster than the computer while steering clear of bombs. Move with Arrow keys or W A S D. The CPU opponent chooses its own path.
Strategy as the CPU gets harder
A balloon near a bomb may cost more than it is worth. Players can improve by scanning the whole play area, choosing a safe cluster and then moving there with fewer direction changes. Harder CPU stages reward quicker route decisions.
What children can practice
The activity can support visual scanning, left-right control and risk awareness. It is also a useful short game for practising the idea that skipping a risky reward can be the better decision.
Three practical tips
- Choose a balloon cluster with open space around it before starting to move.
- If a bomb appears in your path, change direction early rather than at the last second.
- After collecting a group, pause briefly in a safe area and scan for the next route.
